LYSEGRØN is the latest addition to the Sparkling Tea family, and it was created with the intention of adding more variety to our non-alcoholic range. Based on primary green teas with notes of citrus, apples and minerality. The taste is delicate, fresh, and crispy thanks to the Sencha tea and Lemon tea. This is combined with an underlying slightly bitter umami flavour from the Darjeeling green tea.

LYSEGRØN has complex aromas of citrus, green tea, minerality and apples. The taste is lively and elegant with notes of citrus, lemongrass, Earl Gray Sencha, and orange peel. LYSEGRØN has remarkable layers and a long-lasting hint of Darjeeling and green apples on the finish. The color is clear with green nuances.

The Sparkling Tea concept emerged in 2010, pioneered by acclaimed sommelier Jacob Kocemba while working at a prestigious Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tasked with pairing a dessert but unable to find a suitable wine from a cellar boasting over 1,700 options, Kocemba turned to tea for inspiration. He crafted a unique extract by combining a selection of premium teas, unveiling a world of untapped potential in tea-based beverages. This innovative creation quickly gained popularity, becoming a beloved choice among the restaurant’s patrons.
